Thanks to grant funding from the Sport Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund, administered by the U.S. Coast Guard, the Sea Tow Foundation has distributed close to 15,000 life jackets nationwide to help make recreational boaters safer on the water.

DONATE TO THE SEA TOW FOUNDATION


We need your support to help make recreational boaters safer on the water. Your tax deductible donation will be used to:

​

  • purchase safety equipment such as life jackets and whistles;
     

  • run boating safety programs, including the Boating Safety Challenge at Boat Shows;
     

  • develop a boating and alcohol awareness campaign;
     

  • and support other initiatives to keep boaters safe on the water. 

Marine Technician Training
 

At UTI, they've specialized marine repair technician training to a new level–the Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI). If open waters are calling, the answer of exciting career options start here.

 

At MMI, you receive real world training on state-of-the-industry technology. Working directly on the latest models, students learn “hands-on” to trouble shoot, service and repair four- and two-stroke outboards, stern drive, rigging, fuel & lube systems, electrical, and more. You’ll undertake diesel marine engines too.

The History of Diving Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational institution focused on the "Story of Man’s Quest to Explore Under the Sea". The Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, displaying, and interpreting artifacts, antiques, books, documents, photographs, and oral history relative to the History of Diving. We display international developments reflecting early male and female pioneers, and their attempts to explore, understand, and venture under the sea. We also celebrate the special role that South Florida and the Florida Keys played in this story.

Sunshine Coast Adventures is an award-winning American Sailing Association (ASA) sailing school offering live-aboard sailing lessons and sailing charters in the beautiful Florida Keys and Bahamas. Learn to Free Dive!

Immersion Freediving was founded in 2010 with the goal of offering the most comprehensive freediving courses on the market while teaching students to dive deeper, stay longer, and most importantly become safer. My approach is to take the skills that I have developed as a 279ft competitive free diver and modify those techniques so they are applicable to a recreational freediver or spearfisherman. I will fundamentally and permanently alter your approaching to free diving by showing you the Immersion way.

USNSCC is a national youth leadership development organization that promotes interest and skill in naval

disciplines while instilling strong moral character and life skills through leadership and
technical
programs modeled after the Navy's professional development system.

USNSCC is comprised of two programs. The Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) program is for young people
ages
13 through the completion of high school. Also included under the USNSCC umbrella is our junior
program
the Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC), for young people ages 10 through 13.

Upper Keys Sailing Club

The Upper Keys Sailing Club is a non-profit association with clubhouse and facilities on Buttonwood Sound, located at mile marker 99.5 bayside in Key Largo, Florida. The UKSC was founded in 1973 by local families interested in supporting the competitive, educational and social aspects of sailing within a community-based sailing club. Today, over 40 years later, the UKSC is a strong organization with membership of over 140 family and individual members. The UKSC calendar features individual races, weekend regattas, and series races.  The Club periodically hosts educational sailing programs and special events.  There are many regatta dinners and holiday parties held throughout the year as well.  They also have an active Youth Sailing Program that provides sailing instruction for youth in the community between the ages of 8 and 16.
