The Captain and Mate Association is now accepting new applications for membership. CMA was established in June, 2007, created as a means of bringing USCG licensed captains and mates together.

The Association's purpose is primarily to:

• Provide a way for these professionals to communicate with each other.
• Spread awareness of important industry and area developments.
• Facilitate continued education.
• Assist in obtaining important benefits such as heath care and drug testing at reduced cost.

CMA's mission is to create a means of bringing USCG captains and mates together. CMA's main priorities are employment, education, and government informational/regulatory concerns.
